A USA Today list pins University of Missouri head football coach Gary Pinkel's salary among the top 20 in the NCAA.
The Mizzou coach ranks 20th on the list, with a reported base pay of $2.8 million and a max bonus of $850,000. His base salary is up from a low point of $275,000 in 2007, according to the report.
Topping the list is University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban, who reportedly earns a base pay of $5.4 million.
