Judges choose Men of the Year for 2012

The second-annual class of Men of the Year has been chosen by an independent panel of judges and will be honored at an Aug. 31 luncheon.

The award recognizes the professional and civic achievements of 20 men from throughout southwest Missouri.

The 2012 Men of the Year honorees are: Donald Babb, Citizens Memorial Healthcare; J. Christopher Ball, Jack Ball Architects PC; Sam Bradley, Sam Bradley Homes; Kerry Douglas, Douglas, Haun & Heidemann PC; Rodney Dwyer, Harmony House; J. Howard Fisk, J. Howard Fisk Limousines Inc.; Jim Harriger, Springfield Victory Mission Inc.; Rick Hughlett, Rick’s Automotive Inc.; Dennis Marlin, Marlin Network Inc.; Brooks Miller, Jordan Valley Community Health Center; Rorie Orgeron, The Kitchen Inc.; Zac Rantz, Nixa Public Schools; Bobby Robertson, HealthcareFirst Inc.; David Roling, Emery Sapp & Sons Inc.; Dr. Bharat Shah, Mercy Clinic Plastic Surgery; Clif Smart, Missouri State University; Gil Trout, UMB Bank; John Wanamaker, BKD LLP; Michael Williamson, Empire Bank; and Rusty Worley, Urban Districts Alliance.

The Men of the Year luncheon will begin at noon Aug. 31 in the White River Conference Center, 600 W. Sunshine St. The event will include a fundraising auction for the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch. Tickets are $38 apiece, available at SBJ.net/MOTY.[[In-content Ad]]
