Central States Industrial Equipment & Service Inc. CEO Mark Cook has promoted his vice president.
Effective April 15, Joe Reynolds became president, a role Cook previously held in addition to the chief executive post, according to a news release.
"Joe and I share the same goals and vision for CSI," Cook said in the release, pointing to customer satisfaction, employee morale and increasing financial results. “This change is part of the solid footing customers have trusted for 38 years.”
As CEO, Cook focuses on business development, as well as growing distribution and custom process solutions. Reynolds is charged with day-to-day operations.
Reynolds returned to CSI in 2013 after a stint as vice president and chief financial officer for Springfield-based Digital Monitoring Products. He was CFO of CSI 1992-2007, according to the release.
CSI was founded by Jim Cook in 1977 in Jefferson City and moved its headquarters to Springfield’s Partnership Industrial Center in 1984. It’s now run by his son, Mark, according to
Springfield Business Journal archives.
Employing 140, the company also operates distribution centers in Fresno, Calif., and Durham, N.C. Its services comprises design, custom fabrication and distribution of stainless steel products for sanitary processing industries, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
