Finalists announced for 2009 Choice Employers

With results verified by Missouri State University's College of Business Administration, the finalists have been named for Springfield Business Journal's 2009 Choice Employers awards.

The awards, now in their fourth year, are presented in four employment categories, based on companies' answers to an online survey about employee benefits, including retirement plans, perks and professional development.

By category, the finalists in alphabetical order are:

• 5-24 Employees: Dunton & Associates LLC; GeoEngineers Inc.; GHN Architects/Engineers; Jack Ball Architects PC; and Sapp Design Associates Architects PC.

• 25-100 Employees: American Dehydrated Foods Inc./International Dehydrated Foods Inc.; Arvest Bank; Environmental Works Inc.; Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller CPAs PC; and Ollis & Co.

• 101-300 Employees: BKD LLP; Commerce Bank; The Track; Turblex Inc.; and UnitedHealthcare.

• 301+ Employees: American National Property & Casualty Co.; CoxHealth; St. John's Health System; T-Mobile USA Inc.; and Wyndham Vacation Resorts-Branson.

Rankings will be announced Nov. 13 during a 7:30 a.m. breakfast presentation at Doubletree Hotel, 2431 N. Glenstone Ave. Tickets are $20 apiece and are available at the link below.
