Judges select 4th Business Class honorees

An independent panel of judges has chosen the fourth-annual group of 10 companies for Business Class, an award presented by UMB Bank, BKD LLP, Lathrop & Gage LLP, Ollis & Co. and media sponsor Springfield Business Journal.

Business Class is designed to honor companies for achievement in financial performance, innovation and community involvement. Participating companies must have been in business three years, operate their headquarters within SBJ’s coverage area and report at least $3 million in gross annual revenue.

The 10 companies chosen, in alphabetical order, are Citizen’s Memorial Healthcare, CoxHealth, Elliott, Robinson & Co. LLP, Everything Kitchens LLC, Jack Henry & Associates Inc., JMark Business Solutions Inc., Little Sunshine’s Enterprises Inc.,  S & H Farm Supply Inc., SMC Packaging Group and Phoenix Home Health Care Inc.

Executives from the top five companies – announced during a June 12 luncheon – are invited to a leadership retreat in California wine country with the event sponsors. Tickets to the awards program, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Springs Country Club, 5400 S. Highland Springs Blvd., are available for $40 apiece at SBJ.net/businessclass.
