Buying or selling a car in the Ozarks just got easier thanks to Make it Easy Autos (MIEA). Through their innovative website, MakeItEasyAutos.com, Nick Penka and Kevin Grinder have developed a platform that makes it easy for consumers to find the perfect car and for local dealers to reach a wider market at a better ROI.

MIEA helps consumers find local vehicles that fit their monthly budget with just a few clicks. By simply selecting the monthly payment they can afford and clicking, “Find My Car!” cars that fit their budget are immediately shown, eliminating the hours, days, or even weeks that people often spend looking for a car.

The website also makes things easier for dealers by exposing their vehicles to a much wider audience and saving them money in the process. As a performance-based site, MIEA provides a way for dealers to showcase their inventory with no upfront costs for leads. Dealers pay a small annual fee and then pay only after an MIEA customer buys a vehicle.

“Our vision statement is simply that auto shopping should be easy for everyone,” Penka says. “For us, that's both the consumer and the dealer, everyone.”

MIEA came about after market research throughout the Ozarks revealed that auto dealers want a more effective way to market their vehicles online, and are frustrated with the expenses involved in the current models. When they coupled the research with the frustration many shoppers have trying to find a vehicle that fits into their budget, a great business was born.

According to the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association’s Used Car Industry Report for 2011, 71% of both new and used car buyers used the Internet in their shopping process. However, Penka and Grinder found that the auto online marketplace had not evolved since its inception thus, set out to develop a more innovative system, including filing for five patents. They enlisted a team of developers and programmers, led by Lonnie Ezell, and built a core team comprising of Jim Arneson (Attorney), Eric Ecker (Investment Partner) and Joy Robertson (former TV anchor).

“Dealerships are suffering financially, not because people aren't buying cars, but because the cost of doing business in an online world has become too high,” Penka says. “It is time to innovate, and time that someone stands up and takes some of the risk away from the dealer.”

MIEA's Penka and Grinder, both marketing professionals, are focused on marketing their unique technology. Penka is excited by the early response and looking forward to the coming year, “We take the headache and risk out of online marketing and now the dealers can do what they do best, get a happy new customer to drive off of their lot in their new car.”[[In-content Ad]]
