Integrity Home Care has a rich history of providing high quality support and care, allowing patients to be able to remain in the comfort and safety of their own homes. With options from as little as a few hours a day to around-the-clock care, Integrity is meeting the needs of people of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and has recently expanded to begin offering hospice and palliative care.

“Adding hospice completes the continuum of home care that Integrity offers our patients,” Integrity Hospice & Palliative Care Executive Director Gayla Manary said. “After nearly two years of planning, organizing and assembling our hand-picked team of professionals, we completed the Community Healthcare Accreditation Program (CHAP) and state licensure process in April, and have experienced rapid growth as the community recognizes the quality and passion that we bring to hospice care.”

Hospice is not just for cancer patients, it is for anyone with a life limiting illness, and for the family and loved ones of those dealing with that illness. The best time to start hospice care is not the last few days or weeks of life, but as soon as the illness is diagnosed so clients can receive the full benefits of hospice care. With the goal to improve the patient's quality of life by offering support, comfort and dignity.

Hospice care is provided by a team-oriented group of specially trained professionals and volunteers. Through Integrity Hospice, services include home visits from physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, chaplains, grief counselors and volunteers. Currently in the Springfield market, Integrity also offers music therapy to complement the other services, and comfort the patient and their family.

“We are led to serve through hospice. We think outside the box in serving patients where they are emotionally and physically, taking the time to understand their unique situations,” Manary said. “We support their physical, emotional and spiritual needs to make this journey one of comfort, peace and celebration as we celebrate life with a servant heart.”

Integrity Hospice & Palliative Care is driven to excel in hospice, and affirms the concepts of palliative and supportive end of life care for individuals and their families. Utilizing a team approach, Integrity continually focuses on what it means to be the preferred hospice provider. According to Manary, “Integrity not only brings each patient outstanding clinical knowledge and experience, but also treats them with kindness, respect, and dignity.”

“It is a privilege to be part of this journey, and our team has hearts full of compassion and care for our patients and their families, as if they were our own,” Manary concluded. “We understand that this is a difficult journey, and it is one we will take together.”[[In-content Ad]]
