Store amenities are slated to include a food court, health and wellness center with on-site dietitian, and its own distributing arm, according to Springfield Business Journal archives. Last summer, the city approved a community improvement district for the 14.5-acre site, allowing a half-cent sales tax to be charged within the district to fund infrastructure improvements.
