Posted online
Bank of Bolivar received regulatory approvals to open its second Springfield branch.

Construction, which is pending permit approvals, is expected to wrap up by November at the 1339 E. Republic Road, Ste. A, location in the Copperstone Square office center. The work begins after approvals by the Missouri Division of Finance and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., according to a news release.

The Bolivar-based banking company's fifth branch overall, the Republic Road location would employ up to 10, some of which would be existing workers of the 73-employee financial institution.

Bank of Bolivar, which operates two branches in its home city and one in Fair Grove, runs a Springfield branch at 2920 E. Chestnut Expressway, according to its website.

The company holds assets exceeding $210 million, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
