Mueller Co. CEO joins Guaranty Bank board

Paul Mueller Co. (OTC: MUEL) President and CEO David Moore has been elected to the Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc. (Nasdaq: GFED) Board of Directors.

Effective May 28, Moore began a three-year term, said Guaranty spokeswoman Carlye Wannenmacher.

He fills the spot left vacant by Gregory Ostergren, a local executive with American National Property and Casualty Co., who retired from the Guaranty board after 15 years of service, Wannenmacher said via email.

Other board members are:

• Guaranty Chairman Don Gibson;
• President and CEO Shaun Burke;
• James Batten, a management consultant and former executive vice president of Convoy of Hope;
• Kurt Hellweg, chairman and CEO of International Dehydrated Foods Inc. and American Dehydrated Foods Inc.;
• Tim Rosenbury, executive vice president and chairman of Butler, Rosenbury and Partners Inc.;
• James Sivils, CEO of Environmental Works Inc.; and
• John Griesemer, executive vice president and chief operations officer of Springfield Underground Inc.
