Banking and Finance
Josh Hartman joined Commerce Trust Co. as vice president and wealth management consultant. With a bachelor’s and MBA from University of Notre Dame, he has eight years of investment management experience and is a certified wealth strategist licensed to sell securities and insurance.

Education
Southwest Baptist University named Donna Depee director of its Mountain View campus. She is an assistant professor of education and has served as interim director the past year.

Dan Prater, director of Drury University’s Center for Nonprofit Communication, was selected to lead a strategic communications workshop for the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine board of directors in Kansas City.

Ozarks Technical Community College named Matthew Hudson dean of technical education to manage the school’s 20 programs.

The former Springfield Public Schools administrator has bachelor’s degrees in English and secondary education from Drury, a master’s in education administration from Missouri State University and a doctorate in executive educational leadership from St. Louis University.

Government
Capt. David Millsap, commander of the Springfield Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, graduated from the Senior Management Institute for Police. With classes held at Boston University, the program is conducted by the Police Executive Research Forum and provides senior police executives with management training in law enforcement.

The Springfield-Greene County Library Foundation appointed Joselyn Baldner and Melissa Haddow to its board of directors and elected Karen Shannon as chairwoman. Baldner works as senior vice president and retail market manager for Central Bank of the Ozarks, and Haddow is a former executive director of Community Partnership of the Ozarks. Shannon works as human resources and business consulting director for Ollis & Co.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital hired Dr. Dennis Daniels to work at the CMH Pulmonology Clinic. The pulmonologist holds a medical degree from Ross University in New York and is board certified in pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicines.

Kelly Shipley joined Phoenix Home Care Inc. as director of nursing. A graduate of Cox College of Nursing and Health Sciences, she has worked several years in various positions for Christian Health Care.


Mercy Springfield Communities
and Citizens Memorial Hospital earned spots on the American Hospital Association’s Most Wired list. The list is based on AHA surveys examining how organizations leverage information technology to improve infrastructure, quality and safety, and clinical integration.

Insurance
Derek Richardson
joined Ollis & Co. as an adviser in the firm’s commercial risk department. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2010.
