St. Louis lost 110 flights over last four years

As major airlines have merged and consolidated, St. Louis lost more than the national average of major airline flights over the last four years, as well as a number of airline seats.

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport has witnessed its flights dip by 7.3 percent compared to July 2011.

Across the nation, an average of around 6.8 percent of flights were lost.
