The Missouri Career Center of Springfield is bringing on-site job-search services to towns in neighboring Webster, Polk and Dallas counties.
The Mobile Career Center will be headed to Marshfield, Bolivar and Buffalo on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 30.
The unit will be parked in the parking lot of Young's Shopping Center, 900 W. Washington, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The unit will also be in the Bolivar Dollar General parking lot on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month and in the parking lot of Save-a-Lot in Buffalo on the first and third Thursday of the month.
The visits mark the first time the mobile unit will be in these three towns, and a dedication ceremony is planned in Marshfield on March 30.
The Missouri Career Center serves clients in Greene, Christian, Dallas, Polk, Taney, Stone and Webster counties from its offices in Springfield and Branson. It offers job-search assistance and job-seeking skills for the unemployed, as well as help for companies looking for new workers or needing help placing laid-off workers.
