Branson Bank announced June 1 its hiring of Greg Baker, who started working with the bank in late May.
Baker previously served as Branson market president for Bentonville, Ark.-based Arvest Bank, which opened a Branson loan production facility in 2005 and its first Branson full-service branch in 2006.
Branson Bank is owned by Branson Bancshares Inc. and opened for business in 2000, according to BransonBank.com. Baker said he left Arvest of his own accord and is now Branson Bank’s senior vice president of commercial lending and business development. “I’m continuing to help with the bank’s development in the area,” he said, noting the bank operates two branches in Branson and one in Forsyth.
A banking industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Baker has lived in the Branson area for more than 20 years. Among his community roles, he is a trustee for the Skaggs Regional Health Center.
