CFO’s Fogle joins Federal Reserve council

The Federal Reserve Board of Governors announced this week Brian Fogle joined its newly created Community Advisory Council.

President of Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Fogle was chosen to become part of a 15-member council tasked with providing information, advice and recommendations to the Fed board on the economic circumstances and financial services needs of low- and moderate-income populations, according to a news release.

Fogle, who serves on a similar group for the Fed’s 8th district in St. Louis, will transition off that task force to join the national council. The first meeting is scheduled Nov. 20 in Washington, D.C.

Selected from a pool of applicants, the initial 15 members of the council will serve one-, two- or three-year staggered terms. New members would be appointed to three-year terms, according to the release.

The only other Missourian on the council is Patrick Dujakovich, president of the Greater Kansas City American Federal of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations.
