A roughly $1.7 million Honda dealership is set to open in north Springfield next week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

Owner Dennis Revell's Honda of the Ozarks, 2055 E. Kerr St., is scheduled to open for business June 6, according to a news release.

The 20,703-square-foot store located near Interstate 44 and North Glenstone Avenue is a Level-5 Honda Powerhouse dealership, a certification issued by American Honda Motor Co.

The dealership will sell motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, personal watercraft, generators and lawn mowers.

Stinson & Co. LLC served as general contractor for the 20,703-square-foot store, with Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. performing architecture work. The facility also includes a showroom, administrative offices and a service/parts department, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.
