In a 15,000-square-foot production facility in Nixa, Michael and René Van Pelt's Global Expedition Vehicles LLC produces custom-built off-road recreational vehicles that are part all-terrain vehicle, part motor home and part semitruck. The vehicles, which are engineered for long-term excursions, can travel up to 3,000 miles and carry up to 300 gallons of water and 300 gallons of diesel fuel.
