Economic Impact Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year Category

The SBJ Entrepreneur of the Year Award is designed to honor those individuals who have started businesses within the last two years in the SBJ coverage area, which includes a 50-mile radius of Springfield.

The SBJ Entrepreneur of the Year will be judged on the basis of his or her answers to three essay questions which detail the following:

• startup challenges which were met and mastered,

• community impact/social responsibility, and

• perceived competitive advantages.

Business size, in terms of revenues, revenue growth percentages, employment, and payroll will also be taken into consideration.[[In-content Ad]]
