OakStar Bank added Sharon Koechner as a vice president and mortgage banker. She has 20 years of lending experience, including in private banking.

Education
Missouri State University’s College of Business appointed Springfield First Community Bank CEO Rob Fulp as incoming chairman of its 30-member Executive Advisory Council. Fulp holds a bachelor’s in finance from MSU and also serves on the MSU Foundation. On the council, he succeeds John Wanamaker of BKD LLP.

Government
Springfield Police Department officer Kevin Holle received the 2015 Enoch B. Morelock Award from the U.S. Attorney’s Office Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee. Holle, who has 20 years of experience with the SPD, was recognized for his moral character and service to law enforcement and the community.

Health Care
CoxHealth was named a Most Wired Hospital on the 17th annual HealthCare’s Most Wired survey by the American Hospital Associations’ Health Forum and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. The benchmarking study measures information technology use and adoption among hospitals nationwide.

The Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology named Citizens Memorial Hospital directors Michael Calhoun and Deanna Hedger to the 350-member Board of Examiners for the 2015 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award honoring organizational innovation and performance excellence. At CMH, Calhoun is over clinic administration and Hedger manages medical staff services.

The Excellence in Missouri Foundation selected three CMH professionals to receive its Missouri Quality Award based on performance feedback from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program: Kevin Costello, director of the Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility; Debbie McQuay, CMH’s director of quality improvement; and Lesa Stock, chief clinical officer.

CMH added Drs. Ashley Lane, Bethany Dhondt and James Liesen. Lane, an obstetrician and gynecologist, attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dhondt, who works in family medicine and obstetrics, completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. A pediatrician, Liesen earned a medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Law
Bruce Galloway LLC added Vicki Running as paralegal and Amanda Haywood as office manager and legal assistant. Running earned her law license from the University of Texas. Haywood has worked in legal administration since 2009.

Springfield attorneys J. Richard Owensby and Richard Schnake were named top-rated lawyers by American Lawyers Media and Martindale-Hubbell.
