Don Hagan say no money changed hands in the deal. The company works out of 4,050 square feet at 1609 S. Enterprise Ave., the office where O’Dell, Hagan & Co. operated. The new company has 15 employees, nine of whom came from Tucker & Co. Tucker’s firm also brought three CPAs to join O’Dell, Hagan & Co.’s two, the partners said. The merged firm is led by managing partners Hagan and
Jeff Schmitt. Tucker said Schmitt and
Steve Gintz became partners in his firm in January 2010.

Nixa-based G5 Enterprises Inc. closed Oct. 3 on the purchase of Mountain Home, Arkansas-based BPSi Foam Insulators for an undisclosed price. G5 Enterprises President
Maribeth Gardner said the holding company now owns six businesses with a combined 150 employees. G5’s operations include six Bolivar Insulation branches, Arkansas Insulation in Springdale, insulUSA in Nixa, Southwestern Professional Exteriors in Nixa and G5 Enterprises Commercial LLC in Nixa. With the purchase, G5 retained BPSi’s five employees at the central northern Arkansas office, Gardner said. BPSi handles insulation for commercial and agricultural construction projects.

Marissa Weaver, the former executive vice president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, opened her own consulting business on Oct. 20. Your Leadership Trainer LLC acts as a consulting firm for individuals and businesses who want to grow in their leadership and communication. Weaver advises customers on maximizing their current skills to help solve existing problems. The tailored services range between $750 and $2,500. Weaver’s nearly two-year stint with Big Brothers Big Sisters ended in October, and she’s worked 15 years as an instructor of communication and leadership, public speaking and organizational communication at Missouri State University. During that time, she also spent a decade as MSU’s associate director of student engagement, developing and overseeing three student leadership development programs for over 150 students annually.
