Principal architect Steve Landwehr said the restaurant is deigned in an updated Newk’s Eatery look, with seating for 258 people, including 44 on the patio. The Jackson, Miss.-based fast-casual chain serves sandwiches, soups, pizzas and salads. Operators hope to springboard its Springfield presence into restaurants in the Columbia and Jefferson City markets.
