The world's second-largest telecommunications company may be leaving the United Kingdom following last week's vote to exit the European Union.
Officials with British industry giant Vodafone say the country's EU membership has "been an important factor" in its growth. Company officials also said freedom of movement of people, capital and goods are all vital for regional companies.
Vodafone's departure would be a blow to the United Kingdom. Its stock helps anchor the benchmark FTSE 100.
