The U.S. Department of Justice is in talks to settle corruption claims with the Hollywood studio behind "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Red Granite Pictures has been accused of funding the money with money diverted from  1MDB, a Malaysian state investment fund mired in a multibillion-dollar embezzlement scandal.

U.S. prosecutors have aimed to seize $1 billion in assets, including profits, from the 2013 Martin Scorsese film starring Leonardo DiCaprio as crooked trader Jordan Belfort.
