Shoppers contribute to record Cyber Monday

Digital firm Adobe, which tracks online sales, projected Cyber Monday sales to top off at a record $2.98 billion.

Up 12 percent from the previous year, yesterday was the largest online shopping day of the year for U.S. companies.

Roughly $11 billion was spent between Thanksgiving and Monday, a 15 percent increase from last year.
