Report: Scottrade working with adviser to explore sale

St. Louis-based Scottrade Financial Services Inc. is working with an adviser to explore a sale, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

The online brokerage could be valued at $4 billion.

The sources said the company has attracted buyout interest from rivals including TD Ameritrade Holding Corp.
