MFA Oil Co. makes first acquisition in fiscal year

Columbia-based MFA Oil Co. made the first purchase of its fiscal year that started Sept. 1.

The company agreed to buy Ozark County LP Gas Co. Inc., a propane retailer with offices in Gainesville and Mountain Home, Ark.

Ozark County LP has served residential customer in south-central Missouri and north-central Arkansas for 50 years.
