Kroenke to buy famed $725M Texas ranch

Stan Kroenke is close to buying the largest ranch under one fence in the U.S. It had been listed for $725 million.

A Texas judge approved the owner of the Los Angeles Rams as the court-appointed buyer of Waggoner Ranch in northwest Texas.

The 167-year-old ranch went to market in August 2014 after years of legal proceedings between the heirs of cattle and oil baron W.T. Waggoner over whether the ranch should be sold.

The ranch includes thousands of cattle, hundreds of horses and oil wells, and 30,000 acres of farmland.
