Gov. Eric Greitens has selected the commissioner of Indiana's Department of Environmental Management to lead Missouri's Department of Natural Resources.
Carol Comer worked under Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who's slated to be sworn in as vice president Friday.
As commissioner in Indiana, Comer led efforts to reduce the amount of time it takes for businesses to get certain permits. That gels with Greitens' plans to reduce regulations in Missouri.
