Former STL attorney a candidate for Trump's labor secretary

Former St. Louis lawyer Andy Puzder is being confided as President-elect Donald Trump's secretary of labor.

Citing a New York Times report, the St. Louis Business Journal wrote Puzder, who's now CEO of CKE Restaurants, has "gained steam as a candidate" for the post.

In 2000, Puzder became CEO of Carpinteria, California-based CKE Restaurants, parent company of Hardee’s Food Systems Inc. and the Carl’s Jr. hamburger chain.
