'Star Trek Beyond' makes $59.6M at box office

'Star Trek Beyond' won the box office this weekend, taking in $59.6 million.

However, it was the worst opening of the newly rebooted movie series.

"Star Trek" scored $75.2 million in 2009, while "Star Trek Into Darkness" brought in $70.2 million in 2013.
