Bark & Bathe LLC
After two years, Tara Hillman moved her home-based pet grooming business Nov. 2 to 425 W. Plainview Road, Ste. B. Bark & Bathe LLC offers dog bathing and grooming, with basic baths starting between $30 for dogs up to 20 pounds and $60 for those over 60 pounds. Hillman declined to disclose relocation costs or lease terms for the 1,000-square-foot space leased from FBM Inc. Other services, such as manicure-pedicures, specialized shampoos and teeth or ear cleanings, are $10 each, she said. Hillman, the company’s sole employee, said she plans to hire a part-time front desk manager and an additional groomer. Hours: by appointment. Phone: (417) 775-7146.

Gene’s Gallery Inc.
Gregg and Tammy McNabb relocated Gene’s Gallery Inc. on Nov. 2 to 945 N. Glenstone Ave. The motorcycle accessory store’s move from its 14-year-old home, a 4,000-square-foot showroom at 3230 E. Chestnut Expressway, was precipitated by a Missouri Department of Transportation project designed to connect Chestnut Expressway and Ingram Mill Avenue in conjunction with a railroad bridge over Chestnut. Gregg McNabb said Williams Construction built the 9,000-square-foot store on the former site of a Ye Olde Buggy Bath car wash. The estimated project cost was $650,000, according to a city building permit. Specializing in Honda Gold Wing accessory and trike sales, Gene’s Gallery offers apparel for men and women and operates a larger repair shop. McNabb said the store’s other employee, technician Steve Schmidt, is certified by the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki repairs. Schmidt also performs tire and oil changes on Harley Davidson cycles. Hours: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday. Phone: (417) 831-6592. Web: GenesGallery.com

Gravitate Solutions
Virginia-based Old Town IT LLC changed its name Nov. 5 to Gravitate Solutions, and the information technology firm moved its Springfield office Nov. 20 to 1435 E. Bradford Parkway. The company creates software for the professional association and nonprofit niche, and representative clients are the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The rebranding effort, including a new logo, color scheme and redesigned website, coincided with the launch of a new product called Nucleus to provide data aggregating and analyses, said President Tim Ward. In the move from 1911 S. National Ave., Ward said Gravitate Solutions signed a five-year lease with Kensington Place Development Group LLC. With about half of its 45 employees in Springfield, the firm has made Inc. magazine’s fastest-growing companies list the last four years and currently ranks No. 2,534 with $6.9 million revenues on three-year growth of 147 percent. Ward said Gravitate Solutions plans to add five employees by the end of the year. Hours: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 616-0021. Web: GravitateSolutions.com
