Sarah Palin sues New York Times

Sarah Palin filed suit against The New York Times.

The former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate claims the Times defamed her by publishing a recent editorial that portrayed her as responsible for inciting the 2011 shooting of Democratic Rep. Gabby Giffords.

Palin is seeking $75,000 in damages.
