Princess Cruise Lines agreed to pay a $40 million penalty after pleading guilty to seven federal charges in an illegal ocean pollution case.
The case involved one ship's use of a "magic pipe" to divert oily waste into the water.
Carnival Corp., parent company of the Princess line, also must submit 78 cruise ships across its eight brands for environmental compliance over a five-year period.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
