Following the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' decision last week to cut production, oil prices have surged.
Brent crude oil prices on Monday rose above $55 a barrel, a 16-month high.
Brent crude oil futures, the global benchmark used to trade oil, soared to its highest since July 6, 2015, to $55.20 a barrel.
