The Court en Banc for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri selected
for appointment as a U.S. magistrate judge, a position to become vacant upon the retirement of the Hon. James England in November. Rush, who currently serves as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Missouri, is slated to sit as a magistrate judge in the district’s Southern and Southwestern divisions in Springfield. Rush has worked as a federal prosecutor in Springfield since 1990. He received a law degree from the University of Iowa School of Law and an undergraduate degree from MSU.
