Kodak pushing into crowded smartphone market

Eastman Kodak Co. yesterday announced it's entering the crowded smartphone market.

Its Kodak Ektra smartphone is a camera-focused device on the Android platform.

"It's going to help you with all sorts of different photography," CEO Jeffrey Clarke said. "We think this is the most unique — the best camera phone — a camera that has a phone rather than a phone that as a second thought has a camera."
