Jim Beam union contract up for vote

Hundreds of Jim Beam employees at two Kentucky plants could be back to work next week if they approve a new union contract today.

During the past six days, 252 distillery and bottling workers have been on stroke following failed negotiations on a contract that ended Oct. 14.

Union Food and Commercial Workers 111D's new plan to workers is expected to be approved, according to union officials.
