Fox News loses exec following CEO departure

Posted online
Michael Clemente has become the first high-profile executive to be dismissed following the resignation of CEO Roger Ailes last week.

The dismissal of Clemente, a onetime executive vice president, was not tied to last week’s moves, sources familiar with the matter told TVNewser.

Clemente’s number two in the specials division, Peter Boyer, also was let go. The reason is unclear.
