Cecil the lion’s son shot dead by trophy hunter

A son of Cecil the lion has met the same fate as his father, according to reports.

Xanda, a 6-year-old lion, was killed by a trophy hunter outside Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park.

Cecil died in much the same way in 2015, sparking outrage targeted at Walter Palmer, the Minnesota dentist who killed him.
