America has near record 5.6M job openings

The U.S. had 5.6 million job openings in December, just shy of the all-time record of about 5.7 million set in July, according to Labor Department data.

That's almost three times the 2.1 million job openings in July 2009, just after the recession ended.

On the flip side, some say the number of job opening could be an indication that companies are not finding the right candidates.
